Man Cave Pillows

The soon to be hubs has a huge man cave.  And lots of cool stuff; drums, GI Joes, guitars, wall mounted tv......  I know, every man's dream.  He is in the process of remodeling so I figured I would give him a hand.

I noticed two off white pillows on the couch up there this morning and decided to spruce them up.

I went to the Silhouette shop to see what I could find.  I settled on the battleship and WWII plane.  Cut them out on freezer paper and ironed them on.

Decided on navy blue, afterall he was in the Navy, and started painting.

Let them dry and peeled the paper.  Two new pillows for the price of 2 silhouette downloads!

And in other news, I think I am going to have a giveaway when I hit 100 followers!  So if you have not joined yet please think about doing it!!  Y'all have not idea how much I appreciate each and every one of you!!!

  12. I don't have a Silhouette, but I adore seeing the creativity that those of you who own one have. Makes me wish I had a Silhouette too. Thanks for sharing this easy craft idea on my "Your Cozy Home Party".

Oh....my brother still talks about his original GI Joe "ACTION FIGURE" (Not a doll as I'm sure you've been told. Hee Hee". If only he knew then what those things would be worth now, but I think most of his talking is due to his memories of playing with his as a child. He's probably love your man's room too!
