Re-purposed Wooden Heart

I picked this up at the thrift store for 50 cents.

There are so many things that I could say or have been said in my household but I am just going to leave it at "this poor thing was begging to be re-done".

I decided to paint it purple since my fabric stash tended to have more colors that complimented it more than they would pink or red.  Made three rosettes, hot glued them on and here you go!

Much better!  Now to just find it a home!

Check out all of the places that I party here!!!

  1. That is very pretty. You always have great ideas. I went thrift store shopping today. The whole store was 50% off. I brought home a little too much.... oh well.

  9. Fabulous. I really like the purple. Besides it's more unusual than pink or red.

  17. That little heart looks so much better. I have a plain red one that needs to be decorated just as cleverly. I wonder if that will happen. hehehe
