I have seen so much crayon art work lately all over blog land and figured I would give it a try.
Swiped my daughter's crayons, a tea light out of the cabinet and a sheet of scrapbook paper. Then I stared at it. And remembered that I don't free hand very well. So I turned to my Silhouette and cut out the design I wanted. Then I glued it to the paper.
And did a lot of this:
And a lot of this:
And I love how it turned out!
I used two different reds and two pinks. I was rushing to frame it to get a pic but I will probably spray paint the frame red or pink in the next day or so.
If you drip the paper is forgiving. I waited until it dried and if I couldn't pop it off with my fingernail, I popped it off with a razorblade.
Don't forget about the Valentine crafting and cooking contest over at Bacon Time With The Hungry Hungry Hypo!
(Please forgive me if you got an incomplete post before this one. Blogger decided to go ahead and post.)
