Red Lobster Shrimp Alfredo

Got another recipe for you!  This is a copycat that I have put together based on several different ones that I have come across on the Internet. And honestly, once I started making this on a semi-regular basis I can have the shrimp and sauce done before the linguine.  It is super easy and fast!

I usually pair with crab stuffed mushrooms, recipe to come next time I make them, and a salad.

Red Lobster Shrimp Alfredo

1/3 cup olive oil
1 tsp minced garlic
1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, additional to top once done
2 Tbsp lemon juice
2 Tbsp chopped parsley
1/4 tsp basil leaves
1/4 tsp oregano leaves
1 package linguine pasta cooked and drained

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.  Add garlic and shrimp, cook until the shrimp are done.  Remove shrimp, set aside and cover to keep warm.  Reserve liquid in the pan.  Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.  Reduce heat to low and add cream, stirring constantly.  Add cheese and stir until smooth.  Cooked until thickened.  Add lemon juice, parsley, basil and oregano.  Add shrimp to sauce and heat through.

Serve over linguine and top with additional Parmesan cheese.

Enjoy!

  17. Yum, love shrimp Alfredo, and I love Red Lobster's pasta. But I remember when Red Lobster you could go to and get good fish at a good price. Now it's almost as expensive as a high end restaurant. So this will be so much easier on the pocket book. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Thanks for sharing your creative inspiration at Sunday's Best.
