Fabric and Felt Storage

Several weeks ago I came across a blog that had a post regarding using the door shoe organizers to store toys in their kid's room.  I didn't save or pin the post because I really didn't think that I had anything I needed to store.  Until...... I went looking some specific fabric the other day and had to dig through a giant pile.

I picked this up at Wal-mart for about $5.00.  This one has 24 pockets so I was able to not only store my fabric but my felt too!  Please ignore my closet, it has its own issues.

So much easier to find fabric now!

Check out all of the places I party here!

  2. What a great idea!! I love that you can see all of it. I have mine in a tote and small pieces get "lost" at the bottom because I can't see them. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Link It UP Thursday.

  4. Hi,

I followed you over from Oopsey Daisy. This is the best idea yet! I hate having to find the right color felt from a stack. It all just sticks together.

I would like to invite you to share this, and any other posts, on my link party at www.michellestastycreations.blogspot.com. Have a great weekend.

    Hugs,
    Michelle

  15. My craft room has been put on hold AGAIN so I really need to do some major work on my craft closet. It is so packed and unorganized right now that I literally can't find ANYTHING. I have like 4 boxes of overflow craft supplies in my bedroom. Ugh. Hate it. This is a great idea for storing my fabric which is currently crammed in a garbage bag. Yuck...

  17. What a great idea! Now if only all of my fabric collection would fit in one. We started using them to store extra bathroom items in our bathroom "linen" closet which really houses the washer and dryer. That way I can buy the shampoo and things on sale and put them in there for when we need it. Thank you so much for sharing at Sharing Saturday!! I hope you are having a fabulous week!
