Anyway, I may be a year behind on this but I did some searching and didn't find anything so I figured I would share.
Started out with a piece of felt, my strip of fabric and the hot glue fun. Tied a knot at the end and glued it down. Twisted the fabric and glued around.
Started forming the heart shape while doing more twisting and gluing.
Still going.........
At the end I twisted it around, cut off the excess fabric and tucked the end under then hot glued.
Then I cut the excess felt away. I have a question though, why does the camera amplify the hot glue that is not visible to the naked eye?
And then I put it on a headband!

Great idea-I'm not sure why I've never thought of it, but I'm stealing it now:)
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the camera. I used to have a point and shoot and never had many problems with imperfections showing up. Then I got a DSLR and find glue, lint, scratches, etc. that I never see on my own. Thank goodness for photo enhancement programs to hide some of that stuff!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen hearts like this, but yours is really cute. I could totally see them with burlap or on a tote bag. I love gingham fabric, so great choice of fabric on your project too.
