Chore List Clipboard

I haven't been the best housekeeper lately.  So bad that if you came to my house I would probably attempt to convince you that you didn't need to go to the bathroom.  Now, in my defense I stay on of laundry and dishes.  I pick up shoes and clean of counter tops usually every day.  Dusting and toilets, not so much.

I have seen the cleaning lists online and while those may work great for some I don't have the spare time to run check a task off of a list every time I complete one.  I needed something that assigned the 'bigger' things so I created a list in Microsoft Works.  Took the big tasks like vacuuming, changing sheets and the ones I tend to forget, cleaning out the fridge and microwave, and assigned them days.

Picked up a clipboard from the dollar store.

Mod podged paper onto it, printed out several copies of my list and hung it on the wall.

Hopefully this will help hold me accountable!

Check out all of the places I party here!

  2. I probably need to do something like this too in order to keep up with everything around my house. When you have a list hanging in front of you it's harder to ignore it.

Thanks for linking up at my blog hop.
