Welcome Spring Sign

Although based on the temps around here it should have said Welcome Summer........

Since my recent discovery of how simple it is to make signs, found here, I grabbed another piece of wood from my stash, cranked up the Silhouette machine and cut away.  I painted the board yellow in the spots where I knew my vinyl was going, applied it and than painted the whole board aqua.  Peeled away and was left with this.  Love it!

The flowers that I used were shapes that were included in the basic purchase of my Silhouette machine so my cost, minus the vinyl and paint that I already had was zero.

The plan is that it will be part of my Spring mantel along with these finds at Micheals.

How cute is the bird?!?!?!  It was $2.99 and the wooden flowers were $1.00 each.  Watch for an appearance later in the week!

Check out all of the places that I party here!
