Once Upon A Time.................

I owned a Department 56 North Pole Village.  31 house to be exact and even more accessories.  The problem was I didn't own the same size house to display them.  Plus the unpacking, the packing back up, the fact that all average $88.00 and up, somewhere to store it.  Thought about it and decided to downsize.  Sold about two thirds on Ebay last year for more than I thought they would fetch.  Yeah, Christmas money and at the end of the holiday I never missed them.

Fast forward to this year.  I have seen so many great Christmas crafts and decorations online but with the remaining pieces that I have I have no where to put any new decor.  Made an easy decision to place the rest on Ebay, make a little money and create me some space to be decorated!  But affordable and cheap as always..........

I had some scraps laying around from our deck addition and when I glanced over to the pile I saw presents!

I simply painted them and tied a ribbon around them.  Hopefully this weekend they will find a home on my mantel.  I have a few more and was thinking I may lay those down and wrap the ribbon like a package and display on one of my decorated tables! Or may even mod podge some paper on them!

And oh, I have a giveaway going on over at Home For Hire !

Check out the places I party here!
