Mod Podge Fabric Picture Frame

I ran across this wooden frame when I was in Joann's today.  It was $2.99 but I had a 50% coupon saved to my phone.  I was already in there to pick up fabric quarters that were on sale so I just picked another one out that I thought would work with the green walls in my office.

I didn't take pictures along the way but I started with mod podging the front and laying the fabric out and flattening it out.  Cut and worked around the sides.  I then did a snip in the middle and cut out most of the fabric, leaving enough to cover the sides in the opening.  Snipped in the corner to get it to lay down flat.

I think the thing that I love the most about it, besides that sweet smiling girl in the picture, is the fact that it actually looks like a painted frame.

Hope everyone gets to enjoy a holiday tomorrow!  Wish me luck, I will be distributing over 2000 boxes of Girl Scouts cookies to our troop tomorrow with no clue where I am going to store what doesn't get picked up!

Check out all of the places I party here!
